Rural Immersion Program
Details: Chalo Gav Ki Aur is not just about going in village, but also live with their culture, tradition, beliefs, customs, social issues. Ganpat University- Department of Social Work organized signature camp of Rural Immersion Program in Kada village between 19th to 22nd December, 2018.
Jeevan Sadhana Vrudhashram Visit

Place: Selavi
Details: Under Skill laboratory subject, students of MSW Semester 1 visited Jeevan Sadhana Vrundhashram at Selavi. The purpose of the visit was to sensitize them towards issues of elderly in society. They interacted with older people there and talked with them regarding their life. It was a very meaningful exposure visit for them.
Saganpur Village Visit

Details: MSW Semester 1 students visited Saganpur village to understand the characteristics of rural society. They wanted to know about various problems and lifestyles of village people so they visited the place. They came to know about social, economical and political aspects of rural people. They understood various livelihood options available for people in rural areas. They critically analyzed health facilities in the village and observed lack of basic health amenities in the village. 1. Ms. Devanshi Joshi has secured 3rd prize for research project titled "A study on the Domestic Violance and Abuse faced by Women in Ahmedabad District, Shelter Home for Women" in SODH -GUNI Students Research Convection 2020.
