Inaugural function was started at 10.00 am. In this inaugural function Dr. Mahendra Sharma (Director
General and Pro-Chancellor, Ganpat University) shares his experience as a common man regarding the
duties played by pharmacist after doctors. He also explained the effectiveness of this type of continuous education program.

-Vice Chancellor, Ganpat University) welcomed the guests and the
participa
nts.
➢ Dr. C. N. Patel ((Dean, Pharmacy, GTU & Member, Executive Committee, Pharmacy Council of India, New
Delhi) explain the work done by the Pharmacy Council of India for the upliftment of the pharmacy profession.
➢ Shri Montu Patel (President, Gujarat State Pharmacy Council, Ahmedabad) briefed initiatives and action
taken by State Pharmacy Council to resolves the problems of registered pharmacist and role of council
against fake degree. Dr. P. U. Patel, Co-Ordinator of the refresher course, explained the overview of the
workshop. Inaugural function was ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. S. K. Patel.
