Mr. Vikrantkumar Dasani is presently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Social Work, Ganpat University.
Profile
Mr. Vikrantkumar Dasani has completed Master of Social Work from College of Social Work, Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai. He is pursuing PhD on Devipujak community which is one of the Denotified Tribes of Gujarat from Faculty of Social Work, The M S University of Baroda. His doctoral study is ethnographic in nature. He had received a fellowship for his doctoral study under Junior Research Fellowship program. He had earlier having experience of working in NGO and Research Project also. He has attended many National and International Conferences and presented papers also. His areas of interest are Nomadic and Denotified Tribes, Tribal Studies, Livelihood, Marginalized Communities, Rural Development and Community Development. He has participated in many national and international conferences and published papers in UGC Care journals and edited book. He has also attended several Faculty Development Programs. He has completed a research project as a Co-Director titled “Entrepreneurship Development in School Education: A Case of Gujarat” (going on) sanctioned by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Hyderabad. Prof. Dasani became life member of National Association of Professional Social Workers in India (NAPSWI) which is national body for social work in a country.
